24th Annual Winterfest

Due to the wet ground conditions at Independence Park from this past weekend/last night’s rain and with the forecast of rain, Winterfest will be relocated from the park to Turner High School (4717 Bailey Rd). Event Parking is available at Pearland Junior High South in the school’s parking lot.

The 24th annual Winterfest arrives Saturday, January 25, 2020. The one day event promises entertainment and activities including 200,000 pounds of snow in the HEB Snow Zone, a petting zoo presented by VCA Westside Animal Hospital, interactive games and inflatables, mechanical rides, live entertainment, and more! Winterfest opens to children under 18 with disabilities and their families at 9 a.m. (families up to 4 people) and to the general public at 10 a.m.

Tickets

Buy $10 tickets (wristbands) on-site during Winterfest. All rides, activities and inflatables require a wristband. Wristbands can also be purchased before the event online and at the Pearland Recreation Center & Natatorium. Want a discounted wristband? Bring a canned good to the Recreation Center (4141 Bailey Road) to purchase Winterfest tickets in advance and you’ll receive a $2 discount credited to a wristband purchased. 1 canned good = 1 discounted wristband. Take advantage of this offer prior to January 22nd. Discounts are NOT available the day of the event. All canned goods will benefit the Pearland Neighborhood Center by restocking their pantry after the holidays.

Parking

Event Parking is available at Pearland Junior High South in the school’s parking lot. 

Accessible parking will only be provided to vehicles with handicap placards and will be available on a first-come first-served basis. Shuttles will not be provided. For the health and safety of all our guests and for the consideration of all pets, we ask that you please do not bring your pets (of course, service dogs in harness are welcome).
