Keep Pearland Beautiful (KPB) will host the 11th Annual Pocket Pear Texas Hold’em and Casino Night on June 8, 2019 to raise funds for the Joe Miller Environmental Scholarship Fund and Keep Pearland Beautiful programs. Please consider becoming a sponsor of this event.
Each year since 2009, KPB has awarded scholarships to high school seniors in Pearland who demonstrate good stewardship of the environment and are pursuing higher education. In 11 years, $92,000 in scholarships have been awarded. This year, scholarships are being awarded to seven Pearland area high school graduates, totaling $20,000.
