About the instructor:

Shannon Leigh Small has been featured as a soloist, and in the flute and woodwind sections with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, opera orchestras, musical theatre, and festivals within the United States, Italy, and Mexico. She is the founder and executive director of the Pearland Chamber Orchestra, and is presently principal Flute and Oboe with The Da Capo Chamber Ensembles, and Pearland Chamber Orchestra, She is a substitute flutist with the Monterrey Symphony, and the Symphony of Southeast Texas, and Opera in the Heights and has performed with numerous orchestras across the country. She is also an active freelance musician and clinician throughout the United States, and previously Italy and Mexico.
