Many likely don’t know that the wife of Val of Vallensons’ Brewing Company, Lori, is half Chinese. Her mom grew up in Vietnam and fluently speaks Mandarin, Vietnamese, and English. One of Lori’s favorite celebrations is the Lunar New Year! This year, they are bringing the celebration to the brewery!! Join them for an early Lunar New Year celebration on January 19th!Bring a chair, arrive early, enjoy great craft beer, grab some delicious food from the Nom Mi Street food truck, and snag a spot for the lion dance (starts at 1 p.m.) by Soaring Phoenix Dragon & Lion Dance Association :: Con Rồng Cháu Tiên. The lions will stick around after the performance for pictures so bring your cameras. Around 3 p.m., don’t miss the giveaways of red envelopes with beer tokens, free merchandise, and if you’re lucky, you may receive one of the big prizes (must have a beer in hand to receive one; only one per guest).
