In Pearl Theater’s modern reimagining, Dorothy is a restless young school girl who is transported by a tornado to a magical world of singing Munchkins, dueling witches, dancing flowers, militant mice and a funky yellow brick road that will lead her to meet the Wizard of Oz, a mysterious man with the power to get her back home to Kansas! With a score featuring jazz, blues, gospel and a whole lot of heart, The Wiz will have audiences easing on down the road all the way home!
