Pearland Independence Day 5K Fun Run and Veterans Walk

Celebrate Fourth of July weekend at Pearland Town Center with the Greater Businesses of Pearland and Pearland Lifestyle Magazine’s fourth annual Fun Run. The event takes place on a certified 5K running track, with alternate route options for Veterans. Strollers and pets are welcome, so feel free to bring along the whole family. The run is not chip timed, but the first three runners in Men, Women, and Children categories will be spotted for awards.

Registration costs $10 per runner, with Veterans and First Responders running for free. On-site registration begins at 6 a.m., followed by warmups and the opening ceremonies, and the race will start at 7 a.m. You can also register online. A portion of the event’s proceeds go to local organizations, including The Warriors Refuge and Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce.

After the race, stick around for interactive activities by local vendors, stage performances, food, local business booths, and more.
