The Pear Run

The 15th Annual Pear Run is fast approaching on Saturday, May 11th. The Pear Run is held at the Pearland Town Center. The Pear Run supports the Pearland Police Dept. in raising funds for items not budgeted. The Pearland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (PCPAAA) puts on this annual event. They also support the Pearland Police officers through volunteer training opportunities, help with the Pearland Police Explorers Post 237,Teen CPA and purchasing equipment such as items used in the R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) training put on by the Pearland Police Department.

Visit www.pearrun.com to register. The PCPAAA is a non-profit organization (501 (c) 3). During this year’s fund raising effort, through the Pear Run, they plan on helping the Pearland Police Department with a $50,000 donation to go towards a new Mobile Command Center.
