Guided Nighttime Nature Hike

Guided Nature Hikes with the Delores Fenwick Nature Center (DFNC) are family-friendly evening hikes that take place at different nature hot-spots around Pearland. Each hike is tailored to search for different varieties of local nocturnal wildlife like Wild Night Hikes, Owl Prowls, and Bat Walks!

You’ll have an opportunity to learn from their knowledgeable staff about the natural environment and wildlife found at the DFNC and the John Hargrove Environmental Complex. Small groups of participants will walk the trails with Park staff at the lead, pointing out interesting features, important habitats, and visiting wildlife during the hike.

Registration is $10 per participant, and the hiking group meets at 8 p.m. at 5750 Magnolia Parkway. Children 3 and under are welcome in strollers and do not require a reservation or registration fee.

For those that would like to skip the drive home in the dark, the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau recommends staying at one of the many trusted hotels here in the city.
